Typically a 60-minute session will consist of 45 minutes of direct therapy and 15 minutes set aside for answering questions, discussing home strategies and next steps etc. Therapy session times can fluctuate, however, based on a variety of factors including the age of the child, the child’s attention span that day, and the nature and severity of the child’s needs.
 
Yes! We offer direct billing for any clients who hold AB Blue Cross, Telus, Sun Life or Green Shield. We do not offer direct billing for other insurance providers at this time. Most extended insurance providers and employer benefit plans have coverage for speech pathology as well as counselling, occupational and physical therapy services. We are happy to provide you with the paperwork needed to seek reimbursement. Please speak with your insurance company directly to discuss your specific plan's coverage and reimbursement policies.
 

Sessions will take place in our warm and welcoming clinic space in Strathearn, Edmonton. Free parking is available directly in front of us. 

We provide services on Mondays 9:00am-6:00pm, Tuesdays 9:00am-4:00pm, Wednesdays & Thursdays 9:00am-8:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am-3:00pm. 

Please contact us if you'd like after-hour or weekend sessions and we will do our best to accommodate you!

24-hour notice is required for cancellation. If no notice or less than 24 hours' notice is given, the full session fee will be charged. If three consecutive sessions are missed or canceled, the provider reserves the right to discharge the child from their caseload. 

If the client arrives late, the session duration will be adjusted accordingly and end at the original time in order for the next client to be seen on time. The full fee will be charged.

Visa, Mastercard or etransfer are accepted at the end of each session; a receipt will be provided for insurance purposes.
 

Yes! We are able to direct bill FSCD for services provided where appropriate. Once you have a FSCD contract, we are able to provide SLP, OT, psychology, behavioural support, respite services and developmental aides.
